Wisconsin native, middle child... I live for good gluten-free bakery, am always in yoga pants, and swear my childhood dips in Lake Superior were the OG cold plunges.
Talk about a twist of Fate
I have always loved working with kids, so it was only natural that I ended up getting my degree in Elementary Ed. I took a slight detour to teach English in Japan my first couple years out of college before coming back to Madison, WI to teach 7th grade for 5 years. Throughout all of that time, the joy of watching kids led me to nanny for different families whenever I could - nights, weekends, summers.
While nannying one summer I offered to help do some organizing as well. The mom had mentioned the kids’ toys and crafts feeling overwhelming, and I instantly had ideas. I was the kind of kid who had a color coded closet by age 12 and while teaching I would prioritize organizing my classroom over most tasks. Frost Organizing is a perfect marriage of my love for organizing and expertise with kids, and I’m so grateful for every step that has led me to this dream job of mine.
.
My experiences nannying gave me so much insight into how demanding and rewarding being a mom is. I’ve worked with so many amazing moms doing their best to ensure their kids grow up cared for in every way. I saw moms working their hardest, but at the same time, they were the hardest on themselves - for not having this cleaned up, or that look a certain way.
That’s when I knew I had the skills to help fill in those gaps for moms. I could organize for them and create functional systems that simplify the stress of mess in the process.
The feedback I got was incredible. The transformation transcended that of the physical space. I witnessed moms having a sense of relief, less stress, and more space for joy in their lives. Ever since I have wanted to use my expertise to help moms take back their time and peace of mind so they can spend their time where it matters most.
Lover of slow flows and saunas who swears she was doing cold plunges in Lake Superior before they were cool.
